DANIEL AMOKACHI, MERCY AKIDE GET NEW GLOBAL APPOINTMENT.

Former Nigerian stars Daniel Amokachi and Mercy Akide have been appointed to the International Football Association Board’s football advisory panel.

Amokachi and Akide are among a group of seven people that also included ex-Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger added to the panel.

IFAB, who are responsible for the laws of the football game, took to their Twitter account to announce their new members, saying the new members will be introduced officially in the next few days.

A statement on the body’s official Twitter page reads that; Mercy Akide, Daniel Amokachi, Kay Cossington, Jillian Ellis, Maxwell Scherrer, Arsène Wenger, Lydia Williams.
